The technical analysis of the Microsoft stock price chart on daily timeframe shows #S-MSFT,Daily has broken out of a trading range above the 200-day moving average MA(200) which is rising itself. We believe the bullish momentum will continue after the price breaches above the upper boundary of Donchian channel at 427.56. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to buy. The stop loss can be placed below the fractal low at 398.56. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal low, following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (398.56) without reaching the order (427.56), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

The software giant said yesterday Microsoft Copilot for Security will be generally available worldwide on April 1. JPMorgan and Mizuho Securities responded positively on the Security Copilot launch as they reiterated their buy ratings on Microsoft stock with price targets of 450 and 440 respectively. Microsoft’s stock rose 2.4% to a record high on Thursday. Launches of new artificial-intelligence applications is bullish for Microsoft stock price.
